Literature Text

When I am alone
With nothing to do
I will close my eyes
And think of you
My handsome prince from
A world I once knew

Because sometimes if
I close my eyes tight
I can almost pretend
Everything is alright
And that you will be in
My arms come morning light

And we dance
Far too late
And we keep
Tempting fate
And we have
Nothing to hate

And love was
Never wrong
And you sang a
Sweet song
And we would
Last forever long

But these are just
Hopeless dreams
Ones you ripped
At the seams
I am left crying
Rivers and streams

As I patiently wait
For a man who is true
Waiting for so long
Unsure of what to do
Because I know that
Man was once you
what comes to me when i am doing laundry is just amazing

I can relate to this more than I'd like to :c

ps. jealous at your ability to rhyme (It always turns out like a toddlers love poem :/)
